Three fragmentary old chinese rod-puppet from the time before the cultural revolution in China. Each puppet symbolizes its own typical charakter in an expressive way. These old opera puppets are rare, because during the revolution it was forbidden to have this "instruments of communication" at home. Either as actors or members of the audience chinese people were producing these famous little operas, which had a very old tradition in cultural life of the old China.
