A well known, unidentified sculptor, which is becoming rare now. A couple of years we collected half a dozen of these sculptures with its remarkable fascial features, nowadays they are nearly diappeared. A phenomena which is typical for the Lobi market. But sometimes it is difficult to say, which figures of a carver/workshop become rare very soon and which will be available for a longer time. Only collectors, who are observing the market - in particular on Ebay - are able to make a forecast related to the rareness of colectable items for the future. If they are buying you can be sure an object will disappear very soon or is already extremly rare.

One reason we make private auctions only and another reason: sometimes one of these well informed collectors is annoucing not buying under its real name anymore, because his act of buying is also a knowledge-ticket for the rareness of a sculpture..but - according of my experience - not always for its quality. I know only one collector: If he is buying quality and rareness have an incredible combination and he is so kind to let me participate on his enormous knowledge in Lobi Art.
