This high abstract female sculpture was collected in the Northern part of Ghana, in the region of Wa. There is a certail similarity to the "helpr spirits" of the Ewe and Dangme. We know that there was once a migration movement from North to South, so it could be possible that the Southern style of the helperspirits is influence by inknown ethnic groups in the North, traces of kaolin all over the sculpture, the wood high aged and weathered.
