A Baule sculpture of Central Buaké region, Ivory Coast, seated on a one leg stool, the slender torso with a pointed navel and numerous scarfication-patterns, framed by bent arms, the hands holding a threeparted goatee, fine fascial features with a four-parted domed coiffure; occre to reddish, honey-coloured surface, signs of age and use, a hole in the right foot, but in general in acceptable condition.
