A Baule Mask, with elements of the Yaure and Guro of oval form, the rim with open work zigzag patterns like it´s typical for the Yaure and surmounted with acrow, which is a sign, we often find on Guro-masks, but all together it´s wiithout any doubt an old, tribally used Baule mask; blackened, shiny surface, partly fragmentary in particular the animal sculpture on top.
