A male Baule sculpture of the Central Buaké region, posted on a circular base, holding a knife and a scepter in its hands, the large head with a prominent goatee, the slender nose ending up in prominent eyebrowes, scarification patterns on the cheeks, the striated coiffure with a pigtail at the back and a hornlike appendix on the top; an insect damage at the chest, fine, shiny patina from occre to brownish.
