A Bamana Jonyeleni sculpture of the Bougouni region, standing on a circular base, shortened legs, ending up in prominent buttocks, the slender torso with a pointed abdomen, large conical breasts, the flattened shoulders in heartshape, the openwork arms close to the body with hands turned forwards, a small neck is supporting a helmetlike head with a small protruding slitmouth, nose and u-shaped sockets are combined together, a single crested coiffure with four pigtails close to large u-shaped ears; fine, aged patina with an excellent touch-patina at the face, breasts and the abdomen of the sculpture.
