A male Baule sculpture of "des Maîtres de Sakassou", Baule, Ivory Coast, natural brown to greyish patina.

This type of statue was identified in 1994 by Susan Vogel as "Nzipi's workshop" and which Bernard de Grunne renamed in 2001 at the exhibition Hands of Masters, "Workshop of the Masters of Sakassou".
