A partially eroded Mumuye sculpture, Nigeria, especially the right leg, shows traces of a moisture damage, its arms are carved near the torso and end in fins-like hands, the navel projecting, the elongated neck showing a helmet-shaped head with extremely large ears which are rectangularly pierced through, a dark patina is partly shiny.
