A Jombe related sculpture, Northern part of Nigeria, with greyish, encrusted patina. Sometimes it is difficult to pinpoint the exact tribe in this region, where are coming nowadays several works of art to the market, which are more or less unknown. The war and the dominance of the Islamists in this part of Nigeria is the reason, why these sculptures and masks now find their way to the West without being ethnologically explored.
