A Baule sculpture from the high valued Sakassou region, posted on a circular base with flattened feet, shortened, slightly bent legs, the openwork arms carved close to the body, the hands touching the abdomen, the ovoid face with a threeparted goatee, fine striated coiffire, scarifications all over the figure; blackened, shiny patina.The loicloth has to be fixed at the backside of the figure.
