A Baule couple, Ivory Coast, probably from the Arah region, South West from Bouaké, the arms carved close to the body, the hands touching the abdomen, the male with a two and the female with a tree-parted coiffure; blackened to resinous surface, the fascial planes with remnants of an encrusted sacrification patina.
