A Bete sculpture, standing on framentary feet, pointed knee caps, prominent scarifications on the thighs, the columnar torso with a pointed navel surrounded with rectangular patterns, elongated, tapering breasts in hanging position, the arms in open work, carved close to the body, a thick cylindrical neck supporting an ovoid head with a threeparted coiffure and fine fascial features; blackened, glossy patina, several old repairs and age-cracks, remnants of oxidised oil.
