A female Baule sculpture standing with flattened feet on a rounded base, shortened slightly bent legs, a slender toros with a pointed navel beneath hanging, tapering breasts, the open work arms carved close to the body, the hands resting at the hips, a thick neck supporting a big oval head with fine fascial features, on top a striated haeddress, the whole sculptures covered with scarification patterns; blackened surface, partly glossy with remnants of oxidised oil.
