A Guro mask, Ivory Coast, between Senfra and Bouaflé region, of oval hollowed form, in a drop shaped, a wide open mouth beneath a narrow nose framed by bulging slit eyes, ending up in high arched brows, scarification marks underneath the eyes, big circular ears, grooved hairline surmounted with a female figure attached to curved horns, pierced through at the rim for attachment; brown to reddish surface, traces of age and ritual use, cracks, provenance Amadou Bouaflé.
