A Senufo zoomorphic helmet mask, Kponyungo, Ivory Coast, of hollowed form, a large open crocodile-like mouth with teeth, horns on the ridge of the nose, at back of helmet carved antelope spiralling horns, the mask is surmounted by a chameleon, the surface painted with white, black and red pigments, traces of age and ritual use, incl. stand.
