A terra-cotta head in the style of ife of an Oba. The work is characterized by the typical Ife style features: The upper lid reaches over the lower lid. Around the lips is an accented edge. There are grooves around the neck. The portrait is of a man in his best years. It is calm and dignified with the mouth shut. He wears the typical head gear of an Oba; yellowish terra-cotta.
