A male Baule blolo bian sculpture, central Bouaké region, based on a circular plinth and seated on a two legged stool, shortened bent legs, a slender torso with protruding abdomen and pointed navel, one hand touching the beard the other resting on the back, a thick neck supporting an ovoid head with a domed, striated coiffure, fine fascial features, the slender nose framed by almond-shaped eyes, scarifications all over the sculpture; brownish patina.
