A Gurunsi, Kalao bird (Hornbill) mask, region Boromou, Burkina Faso, decorated with incised and painted lines and patterns, the top of the head and the neck adorned with beads of passion fruit, around the rim pierced through for attachment; traces of white, red and black pigments, signs of age and ritual use.
