A male Lobi sculpture of the Northern Ivory Coast standing on a fragmentary, circular base, slightly bent legs, the arms carved close to the body ending in rectangular, abstract hands, a rounded ches, the oval, large head with a caplike coiffure and a combshaped headdress, the bulging eyes with asymmetric slits, a broard, slightly bent mouth beneath a triangular nose; heavy, hard karité wood, remnants of ecrustrations, several agecracks.
