A fragmenatry Senufo couple of the Boundiali region, collected in the village Nafoun with sturdy legs, a well-proportioned torso, scarification marks around the protruding navel, the upper arms and in the face, the shoulders are square, the opened hands are stretched forward, armlets on both upper arms close to the elbow, a large head with a crested five-parted coiffure with one braid in front of the face and further braids at the sides and the back of the head, bulging eyes, below the long angular nose a full mouth with opened lips, large semi-circular ears projecting outwardly; natural brownish patina with traces of age and ritual use, several insect damages.
