A Mumuye or Wurkum iron sculpture in the shape of a minimized female with sagging breasts and hands stretched forward, northern Nigeria, made from cast iron, partly oxidized, this skillful craftsmanship no longer exists today. Mumuye figures often have multiple functions, f.e. as tribal currency.
