A rare female Senufo Rhythm Pounder, Northern Korhogo style, standing on a cylindrical base, slender legs, elongated torso, the navel surrounded by radially arranged scarification marks, rounded shoulders, very long arms, the hands angled and stretched out, the breasts are pointedly protruding, on a long and slender neck rests an elongated head with an iroquois-like hair cut, the mouth is slightly open and the teeth are shown, the nose is long and flat, the closed eyes are almond-shaped and the ears are worked as protruding half-circles, further scarification on the breasts, hands and face; mahogany-colored, shiny patina, the grip on the head and the arms are lighter in colour due to frequent touch.
