A female Senufo Rhythm Pounder, called Déblé, standing on a tall cylindrical base, straight legs, an abstract elongated torso, the navel is decorated with linear scarification marks, square shoulders, the arms are elongated, the hands clenched to fists are resting next to a loincloth, the elongated slender neck carries an oval head with a protruding mouth beneath an elongated nose leading to deep cut brows and closed eyes, the fascial plane with its fine stylized features shows a high degree of abstraction, the coiffure forming a crest on the top and a little curl standing forward; dark brown patina, traces of age and ritual use, hard wood.
