A female Senufo sculpture, Ivory Coast, region Korhogo, village Diamtène, standing on a a hemispherical base, slightly bent legs, the navel surrounded by radially arranged scarification marks, flatened shoulders, long arms with one ring around each upper arm and two around each wrist, the hands clenched into fists resting on the hips, the breasts pointed, on each scarification marks, on the long and almost square neck rests an elongated head with an iroquois-like brush hair cut, the lips are presented as a lying 0, the nose is long and round at the tip, the eyes are formed as slits; the patina shows clear signs of use.
