An early Guro mask of the Bouaflé region, collected by Amadou Bouaflé (Nima), Abidjan, Ivory Coast, with the typical diagonal sliteyes and high arched brows, an elaborated hairdress surmounted by a bird. Guro masks from this region/workshop belong to the most requested masks of the Guro with prices that are among the highest in the Ivory Coast.; fine brownish patina.
