An Egbado Ibeji couple from Igboglia, square bases, backbone well carved, shoulder-blades emphasized, glutei round, breasts stand forward, nipples carved, shoulders narrow and round, big hands joined to the body at height of hips, with tips of four fingers bent at an angle of about 90 degree, thumbs held near hips, pointing straight downwards, forming an open O with the other fingers, ears attached closely to the head with protruding pierced lobes, nose long with broad tip, eyes wide, semicircular, bordered all around, hair-style high, very artistic, crested, the female has a band of braided hair around the head. Statues visibly sloping towards left side. Very particular: the female wears an apron, normally the males wear aprons and the females are naked. Rarity grade according to Polo/David: scarce.
