A fine Ashanti man´s Kente hand woven out of rayon on a narrow loom , probably Bonwire village , Ghana, fine Kente textile of blue, green, yellow, red and magenta, the typical colours for the main body of the voluminous toga-like wraps worn by the Akan men. Most of our pieces have lived on at least two continents for decades and have been valued by multiple owners. Small splits, scratches and cracks are a normal part of their patina, which testify to their age and extensive use.
