A large female Senufo Rhythmpounder - called Déblé - of Northern Ivory Coast, village Kanoroba, rising from a cylindrical base, slightly concave, the columnar legs rise from the base without feet, a slender body, with protruding abdomen wuth a poiunted navel,, the shoulders rounded, elongated arms that frame the torso in open work, the neck cylindrical with an elongated head, a pointed, circular mouth beneath a slender nose framed by oval eyes; fine brownish patina with a shiny touch patina on arms and on the neck, which signifies a longlasting ritual use, provenance Mohamed Belo Garba, Korhogo, Ivory Coast.
