A Ningo-Prampram sculpture, Ghana, from the village Lectsoboi close to Accra, an elongated body with tapering limbs, on the long cylindrical neck rests an oval head, eyes, mouth, ears, navel and nipples are represented as hollows, the nose is in the shape of a tiny ridge; reddish patina, traces of use. The statues were carved to represent the heroes who went to war with the Gas in the 18th Century, under the king of Lectsoboi Nene Tsoloo II. They are kept in the centre of the village.
