A female Baule sculpture, central Bouake region, village Dibiri, standing on a circular base, slightly bent legs, a cylindrical torso with scarifications at the front and at the back of figure, hanging tapering breasts, the hands touching the abdomen, a thick neck supporting an unproportional large head with a remarkable coiffure, scarifications at the forehead and at the temples; fine, partly glossy brownish patina, several agecracks, in particular at the base.
