A large Lobi couple of the Buna region, Ivory Coast, standing on large wedge-shaped feet with legs and torso carved in a rough cubistic manner, pointed abdomen, the male has accentuated pectoral muscles, the female strong conical breasts, both have sloping shoulders leading to arms attached to the body, man's hands flank genitals, the female has oval head with a protruding lower jaw, a narrow-lipped mouth, slanted slit eyes framed by a triangular nose, a domed forehead, the large ears in the shape of a mirror-image c, the male has a globular head, a protruding narrow-lipped, slightly open mouth, a hooked nose and slip eyes, the large asymmetrical ears are set low on the head; like many sculptures from the Ivory part of the Lobi country, covered with kaolin-sacrifications instead of encrusted chicken-blood-remnants, which is more common in the Burkina-part of the Lobi country, traces of age and ritual use, several cracks.

We tried to identify the name of the sculpture, but this needs fieldwork in this abandoned region and for sure the carver is passed away since a long time without a following workshop.
