A Konkomba sculpture from Northern Ghana, close to the Moba population, standing on shortened high abstract legs, tapering hips ending up in a a columnar torso, the rounded chest framed by elongated arms bandaged with leather strings for ritual medicine, the spherical head with archaic fascial features, the eyes recessed with cowrie-shells, extremely heavy, hard wood, heavy weathered, posted on a blackened plinth.
