A Lobi headstake of a well known, unidentified Lobi carver, Kampti region

This head with a beautiful touch patina was used inside of the house, stored in baskets or terracota-vessels. During dance ceremonies it was sometimes used outside, which Thomas Keller analyzed by a short sequence in the Lobi film of Jacques Dumas 1972.
