An expressive Yoruba bronze head of a bird, the upper half of the beak overlaps the lower half like that of a rooster, the protruding eyes are bordered all around, eyebrows with spherical ends, the ears as round indentations with a rim, the comb looks like plaited hair with a bail over it, at the lower rim holes for attachment; a dark patina with incrustations.
