A female Lobi sculpture, Burkina Faso, standing in an upright position, slightly bent legs leading to angular buttocks, accentuated genitals, a flaring pointed torso with triangular pendulous breasts and pointed navel, the narrow shoulders terminating in flattened arms attached to the body, the cylindrical neck supporting a large oval head with a pointed chin, a wide slightly open mouth beneath a broad nose framed by bulging eyes; heavy encrusted patina with remnants of kaolin, traces of age, the feet party eroded.
