A Baule mask from the region of Tiebissou, an oval face with a small slightly opened and round mouth, the nose long and straight, square scarifications at the root of the nose and at the temples, the coffeebean-shaped eyes closed, semi-circular ears, the chin beard in 4 braids, the striated finely worked coiffure is bordered by scarifications, on top of the head sits a Kalao bird with a big beacon; dark shiny partly scuffed patina.
