A Senufo mask from the Dikodougou region, long form, the face stylized, a small slightly open mouth, a long narrow and straight nose merging into the eyebrows, almond-shaped eyes, ears in the shape of half a disc, decorative bands with zig-zag lines on cheeks, forehead and around the rim which is perforated for attachment, from the forehead rises a bird's head on a long neck (probably a rooster); a thick patina in several layers, signs of use and age.
