A female Venavi/Hohovi Sculpture, Ewe, Togo/Ghana, carved out of light wood, she is standing on her two blackened feet, legs sightly apart, arms falling to the side of her abdomen which finish off into her slightly indented fingers, her small neck carries a rather large head considering the proportions of her body, within which lies expressive features of a small mouth large long nose and almond shaped eyes, there ears are large and her hair, painted black, is pulled back; some cracks on her right side, and chips on her left cheek, glossy by use.
