A couple of Mambila terracotta sculptures, Nigeria, the female figure with numerous circular patterns and a heartshaped fascial plane, the male with hands close to the stomach, the face more naturalistic with rounded eyes beneath arched brows. Very Little is written about these highly decorative clay pots, however, according to the mambila religious beliefs " Mbirhlen’nda" is the spirit, regarded as best able to protect and sustain health and prosperity.
