A fine pair of Igbomina Ibeji, flat round bases, short legs, slender arms, long hands, lying flat against the thighs, a triangle on the back, the genitalia and the chest of the male and the cone-shaped breasts of the female well emphasized, narrow and straight shoulders, the mouth very pointed downwards, the nose with a broad, flat tip, the ears have a particular shape, the eyes are rhomboidal and bulging, broad scarification marks on the chins, the hair-style is high and swept back to form two chignons on the top of the head, bright red pearl strings around the necks and red-and-black discs around the waists, metal rings around the wrists; the base of the female Ibeji is broken through and unprofessionally repaired in Africa,light wood, partly shiny brown patina, the hair coloured black.
