A large male Ewe sculpture, Ghana, standing on a rectangular, rounded base, thick legs, thinner waist, large and bulging chest, wide shoulders, hands downwards to the hips, right hand clasped as if it was holding something, a thin cylindric neck carrying a small oval shaped head, with calm and pensive features: a small mouth, small pointed nose, two large eyes painted black and white, the hair is pulled back; black rings at the limbs intersections, traces of use.
