A brass head, depicting a person with a deformation of the skull, which could express the disease of hydrocephalis, unknown origin, probably Akan related, created in lost wax manner, according of the last owner this sculpture was collected in Ghana, which confirms the assumption that this "bronze" can be assigned to the Akan environment, the piercing on both sides of the broard, encirceled mouth isn´t unusual for the bronzes of this ethnic group and also the spiky hairdress; partly greenish oxidized, encrusted and with different layers of patina.
