An Akuaba fertility puppet, Ghana, of anthropomorphised shape, standing on a circular base, the lower body is cylindrical with a vertical carving to signify the legs; the main handle is the body, with a T shape form to suggest the arms and ends in small carvings signifying the hands; the torso is rounded with small buttons where the breasts would be and ornamented with carvings on the stomach; the neck is ringed  and long supporting a large round disc shaped head, with delicately carved features of a small face, short nose, and two small coffee shaped eyes.
