A Senufo fortuneteller object, Ivory Coast, region Korhogo, collected in the village Kassubra, stands on platform like feet and muscular legs, the knees are protruding and she is holding a child on her lap, her body is decorated with scarification running vertically from her navel to her sternum connecting to an amulet fastened to the back of her neck with a large round fastener; she has round spherical breasts, her arms are muscular and she has further scarifications on her shoulders; her long, thick tubular neck also has scarifications around it and leads to an asymmetrical face with the mouth slightly open showing teeth, rounded nose flattened in the middle and small sinister eyes, her coiffure is parted in four with one domed in top of the head and with the others twisted on either sides of her head and on the back pf her head; more scarifications are observed on her back. signs of insect damage on her right arm and signs of use with brownish patina.
