A female Baule figure from Ivory Coast, standing upright, no feet, the legs strong and sturdy, slightly bent knees, the belly distended with protruding nave, small breasts and no arms; the ringed neck supports a small head with a face with small features and a large forehead, small, yet high ears, cornrows for coiffure.
