A detailed Yoruba three tiered regalia box from Nigeria, the base tier with two larger men on the front and th a back carrying the second tier and six smaller figures carrying a bowl keeper in the center on an elevated canopy; the second tier which is the game box with face carvings around it, and the cover with faces on two sides and animals on the other two; the third tier is four women carrying a bowl with a cover that has a handle of a head; all women have loin clothes and identical conical coiffures. Parts of the sculpture have different patina, with a slight indigo tinge on some parts; signs of ritual use. Certificate of origin and provenance.
