A Yoruba bronze sculpture, Nigeria, of a woman sitting on a large block; feet on a step protruding from the block, anklets on both ankles, a skirt with a waistband covered in geometric motif covers her legs, her torso is bare exposing conical breasts and a protruding navel; her slender arms bent at the elbow and holding a plate on her hands, both with bracelets; her thick neck is ornamented with a double necklace; her face is expressionless with large eyes, wide nose, full lips and small ears; :her hair is parted in six sections each with long twists that fall to her shoulders.
