A large Ashanti Hair comb, Ghana, known as ‘Duafé’ with an elaborate design on top consisting of two feline figures carved on the first level facing each other; on top of that two Ashanti stools carved out with a heart shape in between them; on top of that a round face carved into a circular window with ‘sankofa’ birds on either side of it and three small windows over them additional decorations adorn the rest of the comb surface and the teeth of the comb are uneven.
