An Akuaba fertility puppet, Ghana, of anthropomorphised shape, standing on large feet, the body nude with the kneed bent and stomach distended with a prominent navel and ornamented with waist beads, small pointy breasts, the arms with bent elbows with armlets and small supinated hands; the neck is ringed with beaded necklace at the base and long supporting a large round disc shaped head, with delicately carved features of a small face, short nose, and two small coffee shaped eyes.
